Welcome to Gym Tracker πͺ
A quick tour of everything Gym Tracker can do, from building your first program to reviewing the trends after months of training.
Getting started
Create a program
Name it for the day or goal, like "Push" or "Leg Day". A program is a reusable template you build once and run every session.
Add exercises
Choose from hundreds of built-in exercises, filtered by muscle group or equipment. Don't see yours? Create a custom exercise in seconds.
Start a workout
Pick your program on the Workout tab and tap Start. Log each set as you go, weight and reps, right at the rack. Tap once to commit a planned set, or freestyle it.
Plan smarter
Schedule your program days
Assign weekdays to each program (Mon/Wed/Fri, for example). Scheduled days show as markers on the Calendar and as a week strip at the top of the workout screen.
Rest timers, your way
Set one rest time for the whole program (uniform mode) or a different rest per exercise (custom mode). A countdown bar runs between exercises so you never lose track.
During your workout
PR badges
Beat your all-time best weight or reps on any exercise and the set gets a gold PR badge on the spot. Your finish summary shows how many PRs you hit that session.
Plate calculator hints
For barbell exercises, a small hint below the weight field tells you exactly which plates to load on each side. Configure your bar weight and available plates in Settings.
After the workout
Calendar
Every completed session lands on the Calendar. See your training history at a glance, tap any day to review what you lifted, and spot gaps in your consistency.
Insights
A 4-week volume breakdown by muscle group shows where you are training hard and where you are skipping. A 12-month heatmap gives the full picture of your consistency.
Measurements
Log body weight, body fat %, and tape measurements (chest, waist, hips, arms, thighs). Each metric shows a sparkline and a 30-day delta so you can see the trend, not just the number.
Achievements
Milestone badges for total workouts, volume lifted, weekly streaks, and more. Categories collapse so you can focus on what is in reach. They update automatically after every session.
Your data
Units and preferences
Switch between kg and lbs at any time. Set your first day of the week, toggle sound and vibration cues for the rest timer, and configure the plate calculator in Settings.
Export and import
Your data lives on your device. Export a full JSON backup any time from Settings, and import it back on any browser. No account needed, no lock-in.

Confirm your measurement units
A Gym Tracker update changed how measurements are stored. Your
workout history has been checked automatically, but
your saved measurements
do not record which units they were originally entered in.
Your most recent entry currently reads:
Which units did you enter these in?
A rollback copy is saved before anything changes, and this is
asked only once.
Confirm Action
Are you sure?
This action cannot be undone.
