Our focus is Java and Spring Boot on the backend, with full stack delivery when a project needs it. We are comfortable inside large microservice estates, legacy storefronts, partner integrations, and the messy seams in between. A lot of the value we add shows up in the unglamorous middle layer: clean contracts, dependable error handling, and code that the next engineer can actually read.
We work directly with client teams, often as the engineering function behind a smaller business or as senior hands embedded in a larger one. There is no agency markup, no resource pool, and no rotating cast of contractors between you and the work. Most of our engagements run for many months, which is a good signal that we deliver and that the relationships hold up.
What we bring
Backend Java
Spring Boot, Java 21, JPA, OpenAPI-first APIs, contract testing, Resilience4j, and the integration plumbing that production systems actually need.
Full stack web
Vanilla JavaScript, server-rendered legacy stacks when they are unavoidable, backend-for-frontend services, static frontends, and progressive web apps.
Data and integration
Oracle, PostgreSQL, Liquibase migrations, and a fair amount of mainframe and legacy-system interop. We are happy on the seam between modern services and systems that have been around for decades.
CI/CD and platform
Maven multi-module repos, Jenkins, private artifact registries, Docker, GitHub Actions, and the release-plumbing work that quietly determines whether a team ships on time.
Security and privacy
JWT auth, XSS hardening, HTTPS migrations, and privacy-beacon integrations across legacy storefronts. We take this work seriously without making it the center of every conversation.
How we work
Small visible increments, honest updates, and no jargon for its own sake. We would rather ship something useful in two weeks than draw architecture diagrams for two months.
How to engage us
-
Email us
A couple of sentences on what you are working on, the kind of help you need, and a rough timeline is plenty to start. Drop us a note at nikita@shevato.com.
-
Short call
We will reply within a business day. If there is a fit, we schedule a short call, usually thirty minutes, to talk through the scope and ask the questions that help us give you an honest answer.
-
Proposal
We put together a plain-language proposal: what we will build, how long it will take, and what it will cost. No bloated decks. Just the specifics you need to make a decision.
-
Work begins
Once you give the go-ahead, we get started. You will see working software early and often, with honest updates throughout.
