Arena is a free browser-based multiplayer hub. Create a room, send the invite link to your friends, and everyone is in the same game the moment they open it. There is no app to install, no matchmaking with strangers, and no account needed to play.

The games

Globe Drop is a geography guessing game on a 3D Earth. Each round names a place and everyone drops a pin; the closer you are, the more you score. Harder parts of the world are worth more, and the more obscure the place, the higher it scores - so knowing where Naypyidaw is actually pays.

Trivia is head-to-head multiple choice, with live questions across a rotating set of categories. Answer faster to score more, and keep a streak going to score more still.

How a game runs

• The host picks the game, the round type, the difficulty, how many rounds, and the timer
• Everyone answers at the same time and sees their own result immediately
• A recap after each round puts your answer side by side with everyone else's
• Rooms keep a running head-to-head record across rematches, so a rivalry survives the session

Scores that stick around

You can play as a guest, which signs you in anonymously and keeps your scores out of the leaderboard and the head-to-head records. Sign in properly and your total score, games played and wins follow you, with a global leaderboard and a head-to-head record against everyone you have played. Because Arena is multiplayer, what you do in a room is visible to the people you are playing with; the privacy page sets out exactly what is stored and who can see it.
